i am pretty sure you cant just buy the harness. they only come with the 03 lamps.

doh
cuz my buddy said he would switch them out for a lil cash but i need the harness. so am i kinda out of luck?

try and contact a truck body place. you know those big azz contractor custom beds. those places remove stock beds all the time so they might be a good source for the tail-lights/harness

That's how I got mine...for $20!!! And, the lenses were free from a friend of mine who shaved his tails on his '03!

Loki on fsc modded his stock harness to work with the 03 tails. I think he spliced a 03 harness to his 01 harness, but I'm not sure.
"i went out tonight sat down and figured it out...not too hard if you play with the lights a bit...top light is brake/parking light next one down is the blinker next one down is reverse, and the last one on the 03 light is the blinker/park light

99-02 harness wire descriptions are as follows:
Brown or Brown w/ White Stripe - Parking Light
Blue or Light Blue (highest wire) - Brake Light
Blue or Dark Blue (lower blue wire) - Blinker
Green - Reverse Light
Black wires (3 grounds) - Ground

03 harness wire descriptions are as follows:
Brown - Parking Light
Light Blue - Brake
Dark Blue - Blinker
Green - Reverse
Black - Ground

Why would you do all of that when the 03 harness plugs right into the 99-02s?

Some people buy "harnesses" off ebay, and all it is is a cut version of the 03 harness, so they have to wire it into their 02 harness. A seller on ebay will include a bulb and a schematic of what you need to hook up to get the 4th bulb working. I'm glad mine came with the harness

Because one of the bulbs wont work if you dont.
