well kinda of the subject but my uncle just bought a new tundra and I like th echevy better, I have a 07 nnbs ccvmax 4wd and he paid more for the 2wd then I did and he has the same option other then 4wd. My truck is rated to tow more and they run pretty close to side by side. From a role he can get me depending on speed but once my truck starts to rev I will pull him a little. 6speed auto and 5.7 are nice the rest of the truck is nice as well but I prefer the chevy. We will both be towing the same size boat in the next few weeks so we will see who tows better.

I dont care if the truck is built here, the money ends up there. Sure the world is getting smaller, and I'm not against international free trade but I am against American plant closures.

You want to buy a foreign truck, go ahead, but I will always buy American as much as I can. I buy local goods too. Work here, live here and spend my money here.

PS. My truck was built in Windsor, Canada.....that's still North America, right
I agree with you 100% about buying American made products... Sad thing is the Toyota is just as American, if not more American made than GM. The Toyota Tundra's are built in Indiana. The engine in built in Alabama. I think most of the GM trucks are built in Canada.

Check it out.. I think most of you will be surprised.

If I were to buy a new truck, it would be the Sierra Denali.

I'm not debating that the jap vehicles are made here and do provide jobs for Americans, I'm saying the bulk of the profits are made by the same guys who lost WWII....In reality the whole picture is blurred with foreign investing etc but the basic principles are still true.

Let me say you made a great choice in the Tundra. I love my Crewmax . Anyway, there were less than 20 reported cases of engine failure. So I guess you wouldnt buy a C6 Z06, since the roofs fly off
