Heh, I'm the exact opposite. Then again, I'm driving a 5700 lb sled. I want torque without spinning the engine to 7K. Guess what power adder I'll end up with?

That sort of sucks. I would expect more responsiveness.

What about finding out about a company that'll make a custom gauge face? I'm sure most of us are capable of modding the cluster (namely pulling out the needle stop pin). That would be a considerably cheaper alternative.

alright guys, i got an email back and they need a donor cluster to work with and they need the style that they will be modifying.

IF anyone just so happens to have either a denali, escalade, or SSS cluster layin around let me know. ( i kinda doubt it but im gonna give it a try)

also if anyone sees any good deals on one of those clusters either give me a heads up or if its under $200 buy it and i will buy it from you.

NOTE: the first cluster for each model year i get will be the ones modded( i prefer denali or escalade since they are the ones that won), but im not gonna shell out 3-400 for a cluster that i probably wont get back. not going to modify stock ones, sorry. i can find those for around $100 pretty often
