well thats the thing about it, they havent emailed me back but they are going to need to take it apart to see how things work on the inside and i doubt the will try to put it back together. so basically i have to buy a $2-300 cluster to send them and let them rip it apart to know how to make the new one

i would give them my denali cluster but this is my daily driver and i cant afford any down time. and my old cluster, when the previous owner added a apc white face to it he got glue down in the needle holes and now its fubar'd.

and they want the kind of cluster they are going to modify so i need to decide on either the 99-02 or the 03-06, and i have to have like a denali or SSS or escalade, and they dont go as cheap as the stockers do

I'm sure many people have stock clusters they are not using so they can practice on one of those.

oh, i can get stock clusters for a little under $100
they want the cluster they will be modifying, not one "like it"

so if we decided on denali clusters for the 99-02s and i gave them a silverado cluster, the finished product wouldnt have a trans temp gauge and would have orange instead of white needles. not really what most want.

im gonna just have to bite the bullet and get a cluster for them and send it.
