Default 16" Centerlines vs. 18" Centerlines

I'm looking at Centerline Stingray III wheels for a 04 Silverado.

How harsh is the ride with 18"s?

How much is handling increased with the 18"s?

Is there any weight lost between stock aluminum wheels and 16" Centerline wheels?

I'm looking at the 18"s for better handling/look, and if I ever go to bigger brakes. What does everyone think as far as which one would be the best?

I'd go with the 18's. Besides looking pimp, if you do go with the bigger breaks you're gonna need 'em. Also, Nitto has a nice size drag radial that comes in 18".

I would go with 18s also. It will handle better, look better and clear larger brakes if you ever go with them. Like BadMoFo said, Nitto has a nice tire in an 18 inch. They will ride a tad rougher, but nothing major there.

18's all the way. As long as you get a tire that is not loud, you will not be sorry. I've been told my truck rides as smooth as stock.
