Which 194 LED bulbs for 99-02 cluster?
Which LED's have you guys used for the 6 bulbs that are in the 99-02 cluster? I have my eye on the two linked below. My main concern in brightness. LED bulbs aren't as dimmable as normal bulbs, so I need to get the brightness correct with the bulb. One of these is 4 LED 7 lumen, and the other is 1 LED 3 lumen. I've seen pics of the 7 lumen and it seems awfully bright. Anyone use the 3 lumen one? I'm aiming for a pure white look that is no brighter than stock.

194 LED Bulb - 5 SMD LED Wedge Base With Socket | Miniature Wedge Base LEDs | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs
I put these in my buddies yukon. iPhone pictures don't really do justice..
There's still a little bit of dimming you're able to do with the switch.

So I actually remembered I had a pair of these on my R1 in "cool white", so I pulled them out and put them in the cluster to test. At full brightness they are a little less bright than stock and a little too blue. They actually dimmed pretty well with the stock dimmer, certainly enough dimming range for me. But, they made some areas of the gauges noticeable brighter than others, probably because of the narrow beam angle.
So I went with these is "natural white". Hopefully they aren't too bright and can still dim as well as the other type of LED. I got the twist lock from them also, and some PC74 bulbs for the turn signals, cruise control, and high-beam indicators.
I'll post results when I get everything installed.
