Question 2 5/8" and/or quad (4-hole) pillar pods

does anybody make a quad 4-hole gauge pod to fit the A-pillar?

does anybody make a 2 5/8" gauge pod for the A-pillar?

reason for the 2 5/8" hole is Autometer make a 2 5/8" 8krpm tachometer in the ultralite series

this is for a 01 Silverado, although i think all 99-06 trucks have the same a-pillar except for BOSE-equipped models

I have not seen a 2 5/8" pod. You might be able to modify one by cutting and grafting in a thin aluminum ring using that plastic filler stuff. I saw some custom dash work done on TV one time and the shop was using some type of plastic specfic bondo stuff.

When I spin my truck more than 6k rpm I wish I had a rod bolt stretch gauge (stock )

If you happen to have a BOSE stereo you can holesaw the pod and put the stock tweeeter in the hole.

Has anyone ever seen a tan aftermarket pillar? I have tried 3 different interior paints and they all looked like crap!

Haven't seen either. If placement was precise, you could probably mount 4 2 5/8" gauge cups on the pillar and it come out looking clean.

As for the tan pillar, all I have seen is black. I had mine colormatched at an interior shop along with my tahoe console.

hmmm... I'm thinking about doing something custom. If I have to paint it I might as well break out the fiberglass. and I wasn't to impressed with dupli-color.
