Started mine today. The chrome came off way easier than I thought. I have some NY corrosion on mine so much for stripping only, guess I'll be sanding!

waiting on a guy to let me know a price on polishing. he has one of the wheels and a cap.
he is doing it on the side at work so he said it might be a few weeks. think I'm gonna start sanding
the other wheel and compare the two when he finishes the wheel that he has.
but I did mount the two of the wheels with the caps on.

Looks good. Honestly I'd like to leave em like that. I bought aircraft stripper in an aerosol can and it sucks already used whole can on one wheel 3 different times and its still not 100% off. Like I said I have some nasty corrosion spots do u think if I were to sand it all I could still achieve this look or will I need to polish?

Have a set of declad gmc wheels. I have been very happy with them. Im not sure if you sanded them how you would get them back to a brush look. Everyone always goes from brushed to polished not the other way around.

I have been kicking around the idea of clearing mine. POR-15 has a product called glisten pc that is suppose to work well.

Hey Myth,
I need center caps for my decladded wheels. Which ones did you use?
