Default 22" stingray III's

Some people have asked for me to post up the weight of the 22" Stingray wheels when I recived them so here is the results.
22x9 Centerline Stingray III= 31lbs
Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico 305/40-22= 40lbs
I don't think this is bad for a 22" wheel and tire combo of 71lbs! I hope to be able and run high 12's with them on. I haven't weighed the factory 17" wheel and tire but I think they should be close in weight. I broke my tranny after dropping them of to have mounted and balanced. Once I get the tranny back together from FLT I'll install my 2/4 drop, wheels and roll pan. Then I can post up some pics.

With 305/40/22 tires and a 2/4 drop I heard there could be some rubbing issues...Might want to check on that.

i think he had a thread BEFORE he bought the wheels and tires and got the correct offset for them to work plus he is 4x4 so he sits 2" higher to start with

It's the same wheel/tire/drop combo that blue_04 is useing on his truck. I don't think it rubs. The tire is 31.5" tall, same as stock. Maybe he'll chime in on the rubbing issue.

Do you happen to know what your 20" wheels weighted before the tires were mounted?

Yep, 305/40 tires here and it only rubs on big bumps and dips. At full lock the front tires just barely touch the inner plastic. Since cyazo6 is 4x4 he'll probably be fine. Can't wait to see them on his truck. Sorry you had one wheel messed up dude, I think I'm getting as anxious as you are.

By the way, I've actually put belltech spring spacers on my truck and now it sits perfectly level and doesn't rub at all.

My 20x8.5 U2 55's with 285/50/20 General's weighed 75 lbs each.

They weigh under 20lbs. My bathroom scale doesn't register under 20lbs and I only got the rim to register one time when trying to hold it. They definately weigh 19lbs each

The UPS guy and the guy that mounted the tires commented on how light they were
