Default 24s hurt track time?

I can get a used set of Boss 330s with good tires for 1500 from a friend or brand new U255s with pressure sensors for the same price.
I am worried the 24s will hurt the 1/4 mile times and braking performance too much -
help me decide PLEASE

i had a set of those same wheels on my bagged truck i think just the rims where 55lbs. a piece. plus your gear ratio isnt gonna be the same. if your running 24s chances are your going for looks more then performance.

YES 24's will kill your track times... over 1 second slower in the 1/4 mile at least

depends on weight . find a light weight set of forged 1 piece wheels and youll be ok still not as light as say racing 16's with light tires but alot lighter than cast 24's

It's not just the total weight..... its the weight further from the centerline of the wheel.
