275-55-20 and 285-50-20 will be fine on just a 2" rear drop...

A 285-50-20 will NOT work with anything lower...

A 275-55-20 will work for up to a 6" rear drop with the right backspaced wheels (OEM works)...

A 275-45-20 will work with a 2/4 and it will look more proportional than the 275-55-20...

Anyone have any pics?

I am fixing to buy some 20s for my truck and was wondering what size tire to go with, eventually gonna do a 2/4 drop.

Thanks.

If you have a 2wd, go with a 275/45R20.

Thanks.

Here is a pic of 275/55/20 on left and 285/50/20 on the right. There is not much difference. 285/50 is about .5" shorter and .7" wider

Have you looked outside recently ITS SNOWING. I dont drive the truck in winter so the wheels are sitting right where they were a couple months ago. One in the garage and 3 in the basement. Plus my old wheels beside them for company. My truck is collecting dust rocking the stockers for the winter.

i hate the 275/55s on my truck, they look way too damn skinny.... cant wait to wear them down so that i can get some 295/45s... i tried 295/50s and they fit in the back, but i didnt try the front. does anyone know if 295/45s will bulge out further than the 295/50s on a 8.5" wheel?

Quick Reply: 275/55/20 on 2" rear drop??
