I agree..those are the Nitto 404 285/50/18's...i had a set of them, loved them, then looked for a new set and couldnt find then NOWHERE in the same size. I was told they stopped making them in this size as well.

285/50 is a popular size, silverdenali22, 53RUSSELL, are running them, and i beleive BIGKID and txsilverado have used them.
I plan on the same setup, 255/55 up front and 285/50 out back

I like the look of you truck 98brightteal. I think the 30.5" tall tire just looks good. You planning to drop it anymore when you go to the 255/55 & 285/55's? I'd love to see pics of your truck when you do the switch.

Since i couldnt find any of the Nitto 404's i ended going to a continental crosscontact tire in the same 285/50/18 size cause i couldnt hardly find any other tire in this size....these tires have been so so i guess but i really wish i had the 404's back....what other tires come in this size?

I'll be running a 285-55-18 but i am 4x4 and dropped 3 and 4 i have the escalade 18's and they fit like a glove no rubbing at all. don't have it lowered all the way but it is 1" front and block removed in the rear and plenty of room all the way around

LoweredZ71 I'd absolutely love to see pics of your setup when you get it dropped all the way! I wanna see how the tires are going to fill out the wells with a 3"/4" drop. If you have any pics at all please share...would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have pics of anything yet I only have 2 tires so far plus its winter and shitty out, and waiting on funds for spindles and shackles to get it down where i want it but will definatly share when i get some. In the process of buying a house to so thats not helping either. My truck also seems to be really low compared to most 4x4's it measures like 33 3/4 to the lip from the ground with a 265/75/16 decranked very little and blocks removed
