I have an 03 2500HD 4x4 GMC that is stock height. I did crank up the torsion bars to make it level in front. My question is could I fit 285/75/16 on 8" rims under the truck with out a lift? I am going to take it to a body shop and see about trimming a little of the front bumper for more clearance. The washer fluid resevoir seems to be under the battery box that may be an issue also if I get the truck twisted up. Any feedback would be appreciated.

You will be ok. I ran that exact combo for 36000 miles before my lift. All you have to do is trim the lower air damn a little with a dremel tool. And maybe tie back the inner liner on the driverside. Depends how much you twist teh truck up!
