is there a simular mod we can do with the 00-02 silverado fog lights?

i was thinking about cutting the 815 fog light bulb off and soldering the 2005 headlight bulb in its place. i cannot find my old (good) set when i replaced them with some other blueish ones... sob
anyway when i run to the junk yard il pick up a pair so i canp lay with them.
