Question 99-02 and 03-up side mirrors...Pewter03GMC?

Are the '99-'02 side mirrors interchangeable with the '03s?
Crazyidiot4.8 said you tried swapping yours with your dad's truck?
Is the wiring harness different or something?

Not to change the subject but, how's the truck comin' along? Fixed yet?

As far as swapping out the entire mirrors, my '03 had a different wiring setup than my dad's '02 so the only thing I did was take the chrome covers off of his and swapped them out with my black covers. They snap in and also have 3M tape around them. Truck "HOPEFULLY" will be ready to be picked up tomorrow, I'm getting tired of them saying, "tomorrow" "tomorrow"

03's definitely have a different harness from the 02 and down due to the turn signal and power folding option. I did add Muth signal mirrors on my 00 before I even knew that GM was coming out with this as an option for 03. Very nice mod.
