Default 99-06 Trucks with 2/4 drops

I am trying to gather info from you guys with drops. I have lowered the rear of my truck almost 3" (2" shackle and overload removed.... I think it measures 3/4" thick or close to that) but my truck is not level at all. A matter of fact it still has a good rake to it regardless if I have my street wheels or drag wheels on. Well I want to drop the truck to a 2/4-3/4-5ish drop. I am planning on buying new GM front springs, because I think that my springs are 2"drops springs and the rear was never finished. But I am buying drop a-arms and a front spring hanger to go with the shackle. But here is the question.... do I need a c notch with a 4" rear drop or will I be just about on the bump stop? My truck will sometimes bottom out in the rear now if I have a bit of weight in it. And what would you guys recommend as the best riding lowered shock to go with. I have bilstein's shocks right now and it is a bit stiff. Rant over

make sure you do it right and don't cut springs and get the drop spindles for the front. will save you more money in the long run. im dropped 4/6

The truck sees a good amount of track time, and drop spindles would require me to run 17" or larger wheels all the time. Is there any ride difference between spindles and a arms?

From what I've read from other people, they say the springs are "OK" but they would do the arms because it keeps the factory spring. So they say it " rides like stock" but are they any benefits to the springs over the spindles or a arms? Like weight reduction, handling... Etc? Also won't springs make it more of a "sportier" feel then stock springs with arms or spindles?

From all of the companies that make drop kits, who would you guys say makes the nicest drop components and what company makes the nicest riding shocks? Would you rather piece together a drop kit or buy a complete drop kit from a manufacture?
