Default Adding Amplifier to Stock Bose System

I was searching through looking at some stuff on the internet, and i found this adapter that allows you to plug an amplifier into your stock bose sound system, but i believe it is for cars and not trucks, although i thought all GM Bose Stereos were the same in all model vehicles. I have a 10" Pioneer and box and an Audiobahn amp that is not being used right now and i was wanting to add it to my pickup while keeping the stock head unit and without splicing wires. Could anyone tell me if they have used this product or if there is one that is made for 100 bucks or less that will plug into my stock system somehow so that i dont have to splice or do anything too dificult. Thanx guys..peace

Now that i know that i can get an adapter i was wondering, How do you take out the stock head unit so i can connect the wiring harness to the back of the stereo and then the rca cable to the adapter? Also, how easy is it to take out the center console and how do i do that? Thanks!

The dash trim snaps in place. You need to put the trans in low 1 and tilt the wheel al the way down to make it easy. After that it is a few 7mm screws and the plugs in the back.

I used a pac aoem-gm24 from pac audio as well. And it`s for sell $20 plus shipping. Had in for about 3 months. Thing worked great. I`m selling it because I sold the truck.
