Is there any issue (scuffing) with having an aluminum wheel in the factory spare location, due to the tire winch or anything else down there? I was thinking about getting a matching wheel for my spare so I could introduce it into my tire rotations and use up the whole set instead of just four tires.

They look awesome dan. I can't wait to see how she does at the track! You know if you still come up a tad short there are a few small dollar upgrades you could easily do to help get there... (NNBS intake and 243/799 heads)
I'm willing to bet you see your 12 second pass but the MPH doesnt increase by much. Shifting into 3rd gear that much sooner won't help the big end.

I actually made it out to the track on Wed. night, and was able to get a 13.44 at 99.29, and a 1.83 60'. DA was around 2300 feet, and the corrected time was 13.09 at 102. My corrected times used to always be in the 13.3 range, so I think with some good air, and not having an extra 60 lbs. of gas in the tank, a 12.9 isn't unreasonable.
I'm still only tuned for 87 octane, so if I can't squeak out a 12.xx this fall, it's time for a retune. I'd love to get this thing in the 12s on regular fuel though, how often do you see that.

Are the new wheels lighter than the steelies you were rockin?
BTW if you havent gotten the speedo fixed yet you should grab another 0-100 video...
I'd love to see all the comments that one would bring...
