Default aftermarket headlight help

Ok guys, so last sunday a deer decided to jump in front of my truck and bust up the grille/ front end. Well the body shop gave me an estimate and I'm going to make some changes to the truck now. For example, the estimate shows the purchase of an OEM headlight for $271 and a front bumper/ valance for $375. So what I was going to do was buy a set of aftermarket headlights (for less that $271) and the SS front bumper cover (since the only damage to the front bumper was massive paint removal, valance is toast though)

I can get the SS cover for 309 shipped to my door, but I was wondering what sort of aftermarket headlight experiences you guys have had. I thought about projectors, but i hear mixed reviews about them.

Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Only lights I have personal experiance with are the TYC headlights. With high wattage bulbs I am very happy with the look and brightness. Not nearly as good as an HID but it works good regardless. I don't think they are as bright as my stock GMC lights with PIAA bulbs for some reason though. For the price you could get these lights and a set of high wattage bulbs as the stock headlights.
