Another inch
Hey, I was toying with the idea of dropping my truck another inch or so. My truck currently has a Hotchkis 2/4 drop with 20's, but I want to go just a bit lower. The drop doesn't seem very low for a 2/4, at least not compared to some of the others like Chingon's. Once I remove some weigh, that won't help as well. It'd be nice get another inch if possible, but it doesn't look like they're are any options that are relatively inexspensive that I know of. The best way would probably be to start all over, and do custom coilvers in the front with a four-link in the back with coilovers, but I don't want to spend that much on suspension at the time. What ways would you guys go about getting another inch? Thanks

1-2" shakle in the rear with a C-Notch and possibly the new 2" spindle from Mcgughtys(SP?)
Hotchkis doesn't recomend using there spring with anything else but I can't see why it would'nt work.
Plus if you ever bag/4link it the front end would be off to a good start with the spindles.
I called Hotchkis before to ask them about lowering it down 1-2 more inches but they didn't give me any recomendations. I know someone here is using Hotckis springs with DJm control arms.

Mines at a 3/5 with a Belltech 3" coils up front and Belltech 3" leafs and 2" shackles for the rear. I'd just add a shackle to the rear for the back. Don't know what you could do for the front besides what creederado said. I'm also going to a 7" in the rear this weekend by adding a 2" hanger to the back.
