You've got almost the same mods as Rollen, minus the tune. If i were you, i think you might be able to pull off a 14. I would get gears and posi, if you dont already have them, and then a cam.
I have a 2000 4.8. My best was 8.5 in the 1/8th, and 13.8 in the 1/4. I took out the 3500 stall in the 1/4, so that killed me. The stall and boost controller are in now, so i should have more times this weekend. Here's a couple pics.

Stock bottom end 4.8, TR224, Pacesetter LT's w/custom 3" exhaust w/x-pipe through a 22" Magnaflow muffler, SPEC Stage 3+ Clutch, Radix w/3.7" Pulley, tuned myself with HPTuners. Havent run it at the track with the blower and stuff cuz it does nothin but spin. need some traction...
