Default Any HID recommendations? 05 silverado regency rst, want to do fogs too

Should I stick with the oem headlights and markers and go HID or go projector style with hid. Also as far as the fog lights go, can i just buy HID kit for my current fogs or I need to look for a set of HID fog lights.

Here is my truck, want to retain regency rst look, but do like a light smoke look possibly with the silver and black on the truck now. If you want show me some photos and thoughts thanks.

DDMTuning, do HIDs all the way around, stick with 35w and 6K's, IMHO

Stick with OEM style headlights or go with ebay 'black crystal' ones that are lightly smoked and don't have the amber side markers if you want to change it up, but stay away from the aftermarket projectors as they all look ricey and light output usually isn't the greatest.

Also as far as the fog lights go, can i just buy HID kit for my current fogs or I need to look for a set of HID fog lights.

You just need to buy the correct bulb for the application. On an '05 silverado, headlights are 9006 and fogs are 9145. 9145 cross references to an H10 bulb, so look for either.

Yes, good advice. 5 or 6K is about the best for usable light output.

not sure how true it is, but i gota stopped saturday night for my HID's and the officer told me i can have them in my high beams but not in my low beams that they are illegal in the low beam cause it disperses the light rather than directing it making it too bright for on coming traffic. my HID's was brighter than his HI beams i have 8k's

stay with the stock look but get clear corners. the projectors have to be drilled to fit hids!! had them before they suck!!!!
