Default auto clear over powdercoated wheels

I would like some insight on this. I did some googling but didn't get a good answer. I picked up some wheels that are powdercoated, its all on there but a bit faded. Would like it glossy, has anyone did this? How did you prep? And what was the outcome? Thank

You prep it the same as reg paint, scuff the powder up, clean, then clear it. It should hold up decently..
