Playin around this afternoon, got to wondering what it would look like as a 2 door. I had to move the rear tires back to get the proportions right.

I had wondered how much work there would be involved in doing it. Looks like there would be quite alot to do. The rear appears to be taller then the front (not as bad as the picture, but wider and taller), the body lines would take work to line up, and as I mentioned before the axle and wheel wells would have to be moved back. The gas filler would have to be moved, and would probrably have to get a door jamb from a regular cab truck to graft in.

i've seen a picture in Truckin a while back of a Tahoe cut down to 2 doors and it looks bad! (as in good) i could only imagin the body work and fabbin that took place tho!

I believe that was a local guy. It was always at the hunters custom automotive show in Nashville. He started with a tahoe, then put the suburban sides on the back. He had pictures of the build all the through. it was sharp.
