I really like my B. Coddington Timeless 6's but it's a MAJOR pain to keep them clean and shiny. I've been tossing up the idea of having them powder coated black or some variation of black tinting or something. Probably keep the hoops polished aluminum and just the centers black. I'd like to hear some opinions and if you've got killer photoshop skills show me what it might look like. I could do it myself but time is not on my side lately.

Why not powdercoat them Clear??

That's what I did, and all you need to clean them is a damp rag and 5 min. Cost $65 a wheel.

yes do what 04BlackSilverado did. he did them clear and they look great. his were kind of dirty and i whiped a little part of them clean with my finger. well worth it.

I'll be honest, I have thought about going that route. I'm still curious to see how the black (or color matched as someone suggested) would look on the truck. I'll keep having them clear coated in mind.

I like the powder coat idea. Personally, I think grey (similar to the color of your truck) would look better than black. Definitely keep the polished hoops too. For the paint scheme on your truck, I would keep it as is.

I like the idea of clear or color matched to the truck...your truck is so smooth I think that black would break it up IMO.
