you should think of blacking them out i have seen it done and it looks very nice on black trucks. just a thought

ya i know.. i have the tint and clear coat ready to go to do that.. i know that the law is that i have to show that little white area (for the reverse lights)... idk how that would look... blacked out and than a big white square, lol.

I have a question...
If I swap a 03-05 fleetside bed on my truck would I have to get a special harness for the lights to work? lol

umm... not sure. Do you have three different bulbs on each of your tail lights for your stepside now?

I think they would look great! Yea, the reverse light would stick out, but at least you'd be legal. I just bought another set of '02 lights that I'll smoke.

I've seen NeverSatisfied's tails, that he had blacked out, and it looks like the tails were just painted black to match the truck. They're real hard to see the brake lights and don't see how they're legal.
