what is the best 4-6 drop for 99 and up silverados?

DJM Calmax kit...by far! The ride is excellent!

I would highly recommend getting the upper control arms even though they are optional. The UCA's will allow you to get the alignment back into spec.

Also, make damn sure you c-notch it. Mine isn't, and it is a pretty harsh ride, but that's changing soon....somebody say 'bags??

I have the DJM Level 1 kit (2/4) and the ride is alright. I notice quite a bit of bumpsteer with the 2" lowered control arms up front. I'm also running some pretty stiff shocks up front (Edelbrock IAS) and that might be part of the problem. Other than the bumpsteer the stance is great and the rear is not overly stiff and handles well.
