Default Brighter lights

I was wondering what I could do to make my lights brighter. I don't want to get HIDs because they are too much money and I don't like the way they look. I was thinking about just getting brighter bulbs, but i've read a lot of reviews saying they weren't much brighter than stock (even though they say they are suppost to be super bright). What eles can I do?

Get a set of $70 HIDs on ebay. The only downside to em is theres a good chance a bulb will stop working, but the ones I got had a year warranty. Mine are working fine since I put em in 2 weeks ago. Theyre bright as hell too. If you want good non-HID bulbs silverstars are great- I have 2 9005 ones if you want em

Imo, no. But depends on the person. They're pretty much plug and play, and there's several spots to mount the balast without drilling a new hole. I loved mine until i got pulled over for them, now i wish i would have never got rid of them.

if your going to get hid's get the 6000k bulbs they are the brightest most white light available if you get into the colors you wont see as well stay away from the cheap ebay ones the are not digital balasts and the weather packs on the conectors let water in and the lights go out. the cheap lights with the non digital balasts usually interfear with radio reception.

6000K is the whitest but 4300K is the brightest.

Have you done the Hi 4 thang yet dude? It's great. But if you wanna go REALLY bright, cheap HIDs are pretty rad. They aren't hard to install at all, just a couple plugs and one screw for the mount. I've got 6000ks in my lowbeams, and 4300k in my highs. The 4300s are kind of a sick color, but they're bright as bejeezuz. But ya, if you just don't like HIDs, the high 4 mod makes it pretty seriously bright.

I'm already planning on the hi 4 mod, and I think I'm going to try the silverstars first. If I don't like them then I will try to get some HIDs, thanks for the replys.
