10" d/a orbital buffer, low speed is the key from what I am seeing. It reduces the chance of burning the paint and causing swirls! But more than that its the compounds you use to cut and pollish and then seal/wax! On this particular case, I did a simple polish, didn't even use a cutting compound cause its my daily driver and wanted to decrease the chance of something hitting it and hurting it worse if the clear was a little thinner.
