Default busy weekend, lots of progress

Well, started my friday after work with a lot of stuff on my mind for the truck. I knew what I wanted as I started a thread asking opinions and what i should or shouldnt do. but here is what i did, i bought a volant tube from another member, and ditched my k&n. I modded my stock air box, pics below and put the stock ac delco filter in for now with the volant tube, and cleaned out the throttle body since i had it all apart. Then i decided to do some work. lots of prep and sanding got me where i am at, and im extremely satisfied. i took off my billet grille and sanded it down, grabbed some black paint i had laying around, sprayed it, cleared it, and just installed it. Then here was the fun part, i started sanding the chrome front bumper since yesterday, and painted it to match as well. and i should of done it years ago. only other thing i want is an hd hood. enough jibber jabber. PicS

modded air box

underhood

front as it will be til i get hd hood

went through lots of different front combos, but here was the before

Sharp truck!

Love those wheels and like that you made the center caps look a lot better!

MUCH better, and it looked good before lol. Only thing I would do, is ditch the blue bumper lights (bulbs). They always remind me of something that belongs on a mustang or a honda lol.

Looks good man. Got another idea for you, maybe do a black bowtie on the grill now might look good with the billet being black now.
