I have Mich Pilot Sport PS2s in 335 with custom rims and there is about a fingers width between the sidewall and the leaf spring. 345s would likely require clearencing the springs.
I can widen the rims to 12 if need be...wouldn't tubbing the bed have the same effect as wheel spacers only giving clearance in the opposite direction?? Wheel spacers will make my tires stick out further wouldn't they? I've never used spacers so excuse my ignorance. I understand I might have to relocate the springs a bit. Also what heights are your mich pilot sports...31", 32"?

Thanks .T. for the pic. Is that your truck? Those are some nice rims too. Those tires don't look like they are 325's, look more like 265's. I'm gonna check out the mich's but those hankook's are starting to look better.

My friend had Michelins and after he had the Ventus installed, he said they were noisy and had uneven wear and handling problems....but this was a while ago. Maybe they've gotten their act together in the interim.

Well, I looked at the michelin sites and they seem to have a few wide tires (325 - 335) that will fit on a 20 inch rim. However I don't understand the aspect ratio means on a tire. Guy who explained it to me said it was the percentage of the tire compared to the wheel + tires.??

Was this on a truck or a car? Mich definetly has their reputation going for them.

Yeah, my ride. They aren't 325's, I said 295-50-20 on an 8.5". They measure out to like 29x12, mtd.
The wheels are GMPP but they're discontinued. I've been thinking about having them black-chromed...
Just snapped a couple pix so you can see the width against the body, better.
