I am getting ready to start ordering parts but have a few ?'s.

Lift= Cognito 12" suspension lift

Rims= weld mountain crushers 16.5 x 9.75 What backspacing?

Tires= 38.5 x 15.50-16.5 thornbirds or ssx's Right width for a 9.75 rim?

Thornbirds suck ***, dont get em. If you want a real niec tire in that size, go for a set of PJs, or if you want some real serious tires, get some Ground Hawgs. If you are still undecided, you can get more info from me and soem other guys on www.trucksoffroad.com Im a mod over there and my name over there is 98sub454, Trust me though, stay away from the thornbirds. As far as tires, go with whatever the manufacturer reccomends. But a good rule of thumb for those 15.5" tires is to run a 10" rim on a bias ply tire, and a 12" rim on radials. I have a set of 40/17-15 Ground hawgs on 15x10 street locks and I'm very happy with them, on and off the road
