Those are the paint codes out of the glove box and used to purchase the color matched paint.

That sure is weird, maybe it's different for 2 tone trucks, but I know for a fact that your color would be 51u if it were a solid colored truck.

Just trying to help

well all paint codes that I know of are in that form for example:
51U-our paint code
50U-summit white(my girlfriend's tahoe)
51U(now it's a gold color for the 07+ trucks.)
14U
25U
etc

Well to be exact the code in the box does begin U 334D and the other is L 382E. I assumed the L=lower and U = upper

Here is my exact code as seen in the glove box on a touchpaint place.

Yep I was right you have a 51U paint code. Look at the code to the left of the bottom right code. It says 51U. That other code you're talking about probably does mean a paint code but if you look up colors on ebay or anywhere else, they're labeled as 14U,71U,51U,etc

Be different, paint it lime green.

Definitely would go pewter on the front bumper cap, and also have the tailgate hit so the two tone continues around the back. Personally I'd yank the pinstripe too. Should look really good without the textured black crap.

Your all right, mine says U WA722J and L WA926L. Those are the paint codes that a painter needs to match the color. But those codes can also be considered 25U and 59U.
