I've seen the hoods for $450. I don't know how much it was to paint it. I bought this truck used and it already had it. Maybe someone else can chime in on the painting cost.

yours looks more squared off than gmc5.3L's - the squared off look looks AWESOME on the SS - really goes well with the squared lines of the truck

I got mine Damaged from Ebay had a little dent init... nothing really you could barley see it... Paid 260 for it and had it painted and fixed for 160.. Great deal I thought... Same goodmark hood as on that Blue SS..

Appreciate the through windshield pic. I thought it would stick up higher than what it does (which is a good thing). So, does it channel the air to the filter location? Is it steel or other?
