I like my new setup 10 times better... and 10 times less of a hassle and like 3 times cheaper... my HU is better sound quality than all of those flip outs on the market... plays DVD, mp3, WMA files, CD/RW, DVD/RW... too much to list.... and the flush mounted screen looks stock and much better than one that flips out IMO.
never caught what HU you have?

Yeah I went that route to. Hell i payed to much for my HU and it sounds to good for me to ditch and its less than a year old! I went with a universal mount 7" widescreen and will be adding 2 more after Christmas. I have a PS2 in now and will be adding a DVD hopefully via mini-cpu. There have been many problems with motorized HU's but the higher end companies have gotten rid of that problem for the most part in the last year or 2. About the flip screens breaking unless your buying a cheap *** brand or one of the original models you shouldnt worry about the flip screen breaking! These things have been out for long enough and each year they get better and stronger. The flip screens are cool if you just want to go with one screen or something hidden and simple but if your gonna do 3 or more screens I would do like Chris99 says.
