Door Handle Update...

Default Door Handle Update...

Well as you guys stated, no one makes that color door handle (carmine red/toraedor)...No jennings or dealership...


Ordered some rear door handles from an avalanche because 1. they are smooth and 2. i dont want keyholes....Pics to come!!!!!

Thought about going that route, ya could just shave any and all handles.

Don't do it . Batteries don't last forever, and according to Murphy's law, they always die when you need them the most.

Ya too late. Haven't had any battery issues mainly freezing. Apparently when the weather gets below 30 degrees the solenoids love to freeze stuck. Go figure..

I think freezing cold would be a time I want my truck to open without difficulty

Ya. I only am home every 6 weeks for a week right now. Trucks sits in the garage. I lucked out last time I was home it wasn't too cold. Didn't think they'd do that to that extent. There's gotta be better solenoids or a way to keep them from freezing.

Any kind of insulating wrap or heating elements available for them?

Don't do it! Most drag strips won't let you race with shaved door handles. Shaved door handles are for GMFS.com.

Hadn't really thought of that, But then again never been to the drag strip.
Why are shaved door handles for gmsf?
