My guess is the constant off/on/off/on cycle from starting the truck.

no different than LED taillights or somethin. Ive had them last for months and months, but not DRL's. More like minutes

crummy contacts will kill them really quickly, or a hosing that gets moisture in from leaks will do it too.

yea i havent been able to find a set of led drl's that last. just using reg bulbs for now.

Never had a problem with my 4157 Amber bulbs. Had them in for almot a year now. Plus I like the way these look over a set of LEDS

I like te amber too. I picked up some 3157 plugs, gonna replace the old plugs and hook the dual lamp up. One to the DRL's and one to the turn signal
