Hotchkis. Beltech isn't all that great anymore. I wasn't aware of Eibach making a kit.

Hotchkis?? Do the have a web site?

I'm new (joined 15 minutes ago) so I've probably missed a bunch of good advice. My Onyx Black 02' Silverado, reg cab short bed needs to come down. Control arms? Spindles? Springs? Decisions, decisions. The truck mags won't tell me which method is best for fear of offending advertisers. I don't want to kill the ride or alignment but I want it down, 2/4 or 3/4. There must be pro's and con's for each method, but hearing from guys that's done it will sure help me.
Thanks guys.

Hotchkis, Belltech (springs NOT spindles in the front), and DJM are all good choices

I use to have a DJM 4/6 that **** leaned to one side real bad then I went to a 2/4 hotchkis setup with swaybars and love it. This thing handles like a dream for a truck and the kit improves traction. I just wish I could go lower but dont know how I can do that.

you could lower it more if ya get some djm 2" arms for the front and then c- notch the back and throw some shackles on there...

that would put you at a 4/6...

Yeah, I was thinking 4/6 would be cooler, but then I don't know if my rims would fit. Oh, by the way if you are really picky about having a nice ride, then get the DJM and the Hotchkis swaybars, this will still improve handling quite a bit, but give you a mostly stock factory ride. The Hotchkis can be a little brutal on rough roads, but man for the setup and money it will give you the best handling. Also they recommend Edelbrock IAS shocks for this kit, and yes they are setup for the 2/4" drop.
