Default Eagle 219's in 18x9.5!!

Ok guys, been researching tires for the past 4 months or so and before I was told that the 18x9.5's would not be made. Well pinging some old sources again last week and was told that those wider wheels might be made again in late spring. Sounds like they are on the fence, so if you like em, you might want to ask some retailers and see what they say...the more company gets asked the better the chance I would think they would make it.

they don't have the 18x9.5 and have no plans on making them anymore according the guys at the manufacturing facility for Eagle wheels. This was as of about 3 weeks ago. They said they do have the 18x8.5 which I thought was funny because the website only lists a 18x8 not 8.5...
Sure wish they would make the 9.5 again, in fact I would think about having a pair of the 8.5 widened...

Eagle has been saying there going to make 18/9.5's for a long time on several of there wheels. They never have. My roomate is an Eagle Dealer. He tried to get a set of Torq Thrust look alike's for one of our buddy's in 9.5's. They told him we are making them just give it time. Well he gave them 2 months with no luck and that was last Spring.

I emailed a regional sales rep early last week, but haven't been able to check my email yet. I plan on calling them Wed/Thurs if I haven't heard from them by then. I'll let you know what I find out.

OK guys, I got the name of the sales and marketing manager today at American Eagle and left a message for him. If anyone else would like to inquire, shoot me an email and I'll email you his contact info. I don't really want to post the number and name all over the place, I just want him to know there is interest.
