I've always had good luck with Simple Green. Just gotta leave it on for a long time. The last crap I used turned my houses white too. I'm not sure if they will go back to black without sanding them down and then they wont be glossy. LOL

Yeah, it's tough to bring a truck back from the depths of dispair after they have been abused.

A good detailer should have atachments that can clean up the carpet for you. If they are not too bad you can buy seom stuff form Home Depot called Spot or something like that. It's a tall can of carpet cleaner they keep in the houshold cleaning supplies section. The stuff works awesome!!

If you werre local I'd offer to teach you how to reduce or eliminate the scratches.

If you have heavy grease build up then using a long bristle brush or even a broom end will help dislodge a lot of the gunk after you spray it with Simple Green. Also put the hose sprayer on a jet setting so it really has some power. Just be VERY careful around your PCM and such.

A damp rag will take the white crap off the hoses. Have to rub it pretty hard though. That orange engine cleaner did the same thing on my SS.
