The stock bulbs are actually soldered into the sockets. I ended up breaking one when I tried prying the bulbs out. So I did a search for the 194 twist lock sockets on the net. Ended up buying 6 of the twist sockets from a vending machine company in Cali for .59 cents a pop and they worked perfect with my LED's. The lights you can buy at www.superbrightleds.com.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I changed the lights behind the dash to regular green bulbs and broke two of the twist things in the process. My dad drives a Kenworth and surprisingly he had the twist things in his dash and could change out the bulbs so I took his I'll probly get on and order some here in the next few days.

Just to make sure I am getting the right thing, for my cluster I would need the Single LED Wedge Base Bulbs right? It says that they will replace the 194 bulbs so I know they are the right size. If that is what I need how to I install them? Do they just plug in the regular bulbs or do I have to wire them up?

Instrument Cluster and Gauge Backlights
Twist-Lock type instrument LED bulbs consist of a T 1 1/2 (#73/74) miniature LED bulb installed in a twist-lock socket base. LEDs have a wide viewing angle.
Available with White Blue Green Red or Amber LED
Overall length: 21mm Extends into cluster: 14mm

#74 LED bulbs are also available without the holder

Would these not work instead of having to buy the socket and LED bulb seperately?

I dont think those will fit in the socket holes on the cluster. They look too small to me.
