the trans temp guage will work, even in trucks that didn't come equipped w/ them.

all you have to do is change clusters and it works! My truck is a base model SL.

The sensor is already there, mine worked fine on my "02".
Plug and play.

I voted for the Denali, as that's what I have. I like the looks of those blue led's, might have to look into that for myself!

BTW, the cluster's aren't plug and play for 99's...some sort of modification has to be done to keep the airbag light from coming on. I got mine already modified from JP Customs:

I want a Denali cluster but I was wondering, What am I giving up by getting the trans temp gauge? That spot has lights in it now, I don't really pay attention to them but they do something.
