no, it just vents. It is only to prevent the gas from filling the cab if the burst disc blows for whatever reason.

the braided line is the gas line to the solenoids.

You can't have a nitrous bottle in the cab of any vehicle without a tube attached to the burst disc. If the bottle was to ever let go the tube would divert the gas out of the cab (plumbed by you of course).I have been turned down (had to remove bottle from truck) before. I actually made a blow down tube out of copper pipe. LMAO You still need the extended fitting.

Any way, I went thru inspection and this time I had one, I made a point to show him the bottle. I was so proud. He was a little weary of my homemade tube, but after doing some touchy feely gay crap he passed me. Well, to make a long story short, he didn't write the letter "N" on my truck. I hit the purge button after the water box and the crew at the tree freaked out on me. The owner was there and she was calling me a liar and everything. She's like, "Jason is our best inspector, you hid this from him." LMAO she pulled me out of line and made them radio Jason, who apparently has been guilty of not writing the letter "N" on nitrous vehicles a time or 2. Fuggers.

BTW, don't fill that bottle without changing those fittings to adapt the tube on.

Ok thanks guys, I had to look at my bottle, like I said this is new to me I used to be a NOS nazzi. I take it the burst disc is at the blow down pipe outlet before the actual NOS line, it would break if it was a hard hit or whatever. I guess, I dunno ...

it is on the oppostite side of the valve from the N2O line (we don't say Nawz...lol) it will burst from over pressure, like if full and it gets really hot.
