Default finally got my toy

buddy of mine was selling this just too cheap and i had to jump on it. its a 1972 chevy with a built 454 and turbo 400. it supposed had the motor built to run nos. the guy that he got it from started building it in 1993 and has only recently been driven. i have a whole alot of receipts to go threw trying to find info on the motor.

i have plans for it all ready but three things are for sure its not gonna be red no more, its gonna get an original wide bed and some new wheels. this is how it looked when i drove it home.

how do yall like it?

Looks lke a good place to start. It needs some love for sure.

Glad I didn't have a mouth full of anything when I saw the rear view. I would be buying a new keyboard. As it is I almost **** my self with the big western bumper on the step side bed.

I like that body style and can't wait to see the finished product with a real bed, and cleaned up interior.

I'm impressed with how well the body lines up with that bed, it looks to be off a mid 90"s truck...

Glad you're putting an original bed on it, cause I can't stand those bed conversions. They always look terrible to me, no matter how clean you try and make it.

thanks but the fun part with it right now is seeing the look on peoples faces when they just got whooped by ugly truck.

finally got my toy-green-truck.jpg

This is the only pic of my buddies truck that I have, but it is pretty sweet to have a mid 90's model bed and only 70k original miles
