Here are some small pics that I uploaded. I would like to sit down and do a step by step write up with some full size pics but I have been very busy lately.

Before......

After.....

I used a buffer to help out with the application of the swirl remover and plastic polish to bring them to a shine. It can be done by hand but its going to take a while.

Here are some big pics but I was having some issues with my camera again.......oh well.......

I was posing my arm the same way in both pictures. Notice almost zero reflection in the before pic.

Wow. That looks great. What are the brands of the products you used? Can I get them at a typical parts store?

Sorry for the delay...life has been really busy.

I used 2000 grit paper followed with some Wolfgangs swirl remover 3.0 followed with Wolfgangs Finishing Glaze 3.0 and I have added a few coats of Liquid Glass (sealent) since the pictures to add protection and keep them shining.

The Wolfgang products are internet only (autogeek.net) but subsitutes can be used with the same results. Just look for a rubbing compound that is designed to remove 2000 grit scratches. Follow up with a light scratch remover (a plastic polish should would just fine) to remove the scratches created by the rubbing compound and then add a coat of wax to keep the shine in and protect the plastic.

Its hard work but worth it. Keep in mind the harder you press when your polishing with the 2000 grit paper the harder and deeper the scratches will be and will cause more work than needed.

Looks good, a little darker than I did mine, but hopefully in the sunlight after your wet sandings you will be safe from warnings or tickets!

I like the mod.

After getting pulled over with tinted stock tails, I took them off with acetone. Not worth blue lights imo

I like the green shutters... Why'd you let that slow truck get in the way of the pic?!?!
