Default First appearance mods to the GMC

Well i bought this truck 3 months ago its an 05 1500 and well its time to start improving the looks. The first thing I did was shave the emblems on the tailgate and gave it a good wash, polish, and sealant. Then I changed all the interior lights to Cool white leds. Now today i painted the door handle to match the truck and let me tell you that was alot of work but it will look better i think. I just have to install them yet. Next on the list is daul exhaust, white mirror caps, a bed cover, maybe billet grille, then some wheels and tires. and so on. Here are some pics.
Here she is emblems shaved but otherwise stock.

Here are some interior with the leds done.

And Here are the freshly painted handles.

Nice! As you can already tell it never ends. The handles will make a huge difference.

I bought already painted handles for mine, but smoothed my own tailgate handle and bezel. It takes time, but really isn't that bad. Now doing the dash plastics is a different story...

That looks awesome...I have Esky handles to be installed on my doors, but they don't make one for the tailgate with the chrome handle and smooth bezel AFAIK, guess I'm going to have to mix and match. What did you do with your tailgate handle/bezel. I'm assuming that you smoothed and painted your old bezel, but what chrome handle is that?

The chrome pieces are just covers. I wanted to buy the actual chrome handles but they are to expensive.
