Flamethrower with cats???
No, No, don't call PETA...
I was just wondering if it is possible to put a flamethrower on my truck if I still have cats on it? I saw a girl on one of these forums that had one on her truck and her signature said she didn't have any performance mods (no tune), so either she still had the cats on, or she is popping a code. Her last post was in 05, or I would ask her...

People have done it since hot rodding began.
On a Gen I engine you could hook a relay up to a switch and your distributer. When you push the button it would cut out the distributor when you let off the gas so raw fuel would pass into the exhaust. The spark would get diverted to a coil and plug you installed on the exhaust. Which would ignite the fuel.
Interested in knowing how she did it on a Gen 3 considering theres individual coil packs now.
I was going to hook one up to my blazer... still have the kit.
