Some pics after the fresh paint on the hd hood. After drying more since last nite, some areas need some more detail, as the clear hazed a little bit, some scratches came more apparent. So gonna give it a one over at the end of the week. Also need to adjust the hood a little bit on the pass side. But other then that it looks great. Enjoy

Also unrelated... What size/brand tires are those? I think I remember you saying 285/50-18?

How many coats of clear you put on? If you have 3 you can buff it out.

Yah I have 4 coats on it. It has been wetsanded and buffed already. Since I did not have anything to bake it in, the clear is still a bit wet, and getting harder. i think by the end of the week it should be good. Hell my bed you could smell the paint for a month.

Thanks. To have a shop do this would have cost me 350 + in my area, then i would have had to take it to them. I have ruffly 160 in materials( dupont stuff), did all of it my self. So 150 and about 8 hours of my time, from initial sanding. primering, it was a no brainer. And have some more exp under my belt
