i gave them to a buddy of mine. he smoothed them out with filler and then used high build primer to smooth the rest of the cover out. he also grinded the 5.7 off for me and i had Autoguy a graphics guy with a SSS to make me up those decals. i was going to have them painted on use decals then remove them after the blue was sprayed but the 6.0L is going ot be changing to 6.7L in the future. i had the decals made up basically the same size as the corvette was. the color is same color as my stripes which is 03 GM electron blue met. i probably wont keep them on daily so i dont distort them but toss them on for cruises and etc. i thought i needed the 97 covers cause of my fuel rail but ending up doing it differently so i could of just used 99 and up covers. i got the black ones and just had him do his thing. they came out well i think. i could of wetsanded them some and buffed them out to get the little bit of dirt out of them but its in the engine bay and no body will be there that close to see them.

also to use them i had to trim the coil pack mounts off them and reshape the driverside cover some for the throttle cable but he shaped them as it would look factory

if you want contact Autoguy and tell him about the covers and he'll make up the decals for you
