what is the pupose of buying those twist locks? Are they neccesary to install the LED's?

... I was just under the impression that you could just plug the led's into the stock sockets.

The leds that are in the stock sockets, are soldered in. So there is a good chance that you will either brake the bulb off in the socket, and even if you dont do that, you have to re solder in the new bulbs. Trust me its worth it to just spend the 5 bucks on the new sockets, and just plugs the bulbs in with no soldering needed. Plus if you do this, you can put the gauges back to stock if you ever want to. Just keep the old bulbs.

Hey guys, I just called bay area amusments, and the guy said that his online store is incorrect, and that he has tons of the twist locks. He is going to update the online store, and we should be able to order more of them tonight. I just ordered some more blue leds for my moms hoe, she almost wanted purple. That might have been kinda cool. Anyway, ill post more pics of they look with stock gauges.

I have a question. Someone told me that the bulbs that have I think 5 leds: 4 of them pointing to the side and one big one pointing straight out may shine better in that application than the one that you show. Do you know if that is true or not. I will be doing mine in white leds.

By the looks of the picture it looks good to me... i think the 4 dont have any shinning right in the middle... i think that one little led that will be directed forward may make the cluster look "spotted"...

If you dont mind Dub, im going to post a pic of what mine looks like when I'm done, and good thing u emailed that guy at bay amusements, bc i would have bought from him since u suggested it, but as you said his site was messed up.. i knew you couldnt have bought him out, lol.
